How to Run a Wii ISO on Homebrew

  • Wii game ISO
  • Modified Wii system with USB Loader Homebrew application installed

In 2006, Nintendo introduced the Wii game console. Nearly instantly, users trying to get the absolute most from the systems started to change them to match their needs. Wii modifications allow users to view movies, play emulation software and run copies of matches, all in their own consoles. For users wishing to play copies of games in their collections, running a

wii iso

in the Homebrew Channel is a simple way to do so and requires just a few actions.

Open your Web browser and navigate to this WBSF Manger homepage (link supplied in the resources section below). Click the download link to start downloading the file. This application will let you incorporate Wii ISOs for your USB storage device. After the download finishes, double click on the file icon to start the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the program.

Connect your USB storage device into one of the USB ports on your PC. Whenever your drive loads, pick it from the drop-down menu at the application window. In case you have not already formatted your device, click the”Format” button to format the drive to be read by your Wii console. Formatting a USB storage device will delete whatever on it and make it unreadable on anything but your Wii system. Allow several minutes for this process to complete.

Click on the”Browse” button in the program menu. Find the Wii ISO file that you want to grow your USB storage device and click on the”Open” button. Repeat this step for any other Wii ISOs you wish to put on your USB storage device. Once you’ve chosen all of the ISOs you need to include, click the”Add to Drive” button. Allow a few minutes for this process to complete.

Eject the USB storage device from your computer.

Plug the USB storage device to the USB slot furthest to the left on your Wii console. Switch your Wii system on and start the Homebrew Channel. Run the”USB Loader” program from the Homebrew menu. Utilize your Wii Remote to select the game you’d like to play and press on the”A” button to load the game from your USB storage device.

Copy any files in your USB storage device to your computer’s hard disk before formatting the storage device.

Simply use this procedure to play backups of games that you have.
